Yesterday, Girls Tech Together hosted a cybersecurity event in partnership with the Bank of America Women in Technology branch. Speakers from Bank of America led participants through an immersive and engaging cybersecurity activity, in which girls got to become cyber-sleuths to solve a cyber crime. In the process, they learned about concepts like digital forensics, insiders, breachs, and information security, as well as the work that is associated with the cybersecurity career field.
Girls Tech Together is excited to launch a new series of these types of workshops for various computer science-related fields, bringing in more speakers and engaging activities for girls to partake in!
