On November 17th, 2022, Girls Tech Together was officially awarded the Delaware STEM Educators Award. This prestigious award recognizes the outstanding efforts of individuals and organizations in promoting STEM education and increasing the participation of underrepresented groups in these fields.
Impressed by our initiative to close the gender STEM gap, the Delaware STEM council invited GTT to accept the award at the Symposium, which brings together local STEM leaders to engage in thoughtful discussions about the challenges and opportunities that a STEM future means to Delaware and its surrounding regions. We are honored to have been recognized for our tangible impact on the lives of young girls across the world, and we hope to continue inspiring and empowering them to pursue their passions and succeed in their chosen careers.
We are thrilled to have been recognized for our efforts to close the gender gap in STEM fields, but we know that there is still a long way to go. We hope to continue inspiring and empowering girls in STEM. Our mission is to create a world where girls and women are equally represented in STEM fields, and we will continue to work towards this goal.
